In the second Learning, Teaching, Training Activities (LTT2) event of the “Green Steps to Future” project, hosted by Stredni odborne uciliste elektrotechnicke – Plzen (Czech Republic) from December 11th to 15th, 2023, the Center for Climate Change played a pivotal role as an expert collaborator. Alongside partner institutions \u00d6zl\u00fcce Rasim \u00d6zden\u00f6ren Anatolian Imam Hatip High School (Turkey) and Agrupamento de Escolas de Penacova (Portugal), our involvement enriched discussions and workshops focused on energy sources and their environmental impact.<\/p>\n

Throughout the activity, our team engaged in comprehensive discussions on various energy sources prevalent across different countries, emphasizing alternative sources and their significance in mitigating climate change.<\/p>\n

Throughout the week, participants had the opportunity to explore various landmarks in the Czech Republic, including the capital city of Prague, where they visited historical sites such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and Starom\u011bstsk\u00e9 Square. Additionally, visits to Plze\u0148, Loket Castle, and Karlovy Vary provided insights into the utilization of wind power stations in the region. The visit to Techmania Science Centre further enriched participants’ understanding of technical innovations in energy and climate-related fields.<\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of attendance, marking the end of a fruitful and enriching experience for all participants. The event facilitated valuable exchanges of knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on climate change and energy sustainability. The Center for Climate Change expresses gratitude to all participants and acknowledges the importance of initiatives like the Erasmus+ program in fostering international collaboration and understanding on critical issues such as climate change.<\/p>\n
