{"id":3064,"date":"2023-10-17T07:46:01","date_gmt":"2023-10-17T07:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ckp.org.mk\/?p=3064"},"modified":"2023-10-17T07:48:08","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T07:48:08","slug":"increasing-the-resilience-at-msmes-through-reducing-energy-costs-to-overcome-the-effects-of-energy-crisis-and-to-improve-business-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ckp.org.mk\/green-agenda\/increasing-the-resilience-at-msmes-through-reducing-energy-costs-to-overcome-the-effects-of-energy-crisis-and-to-improve-business-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Increasing the resilience at MSME\u2019s through reducing energy costs to overcome the effects of energy crisis and to improve business services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Center for Climate Change has started implementing the project <em>\u201cIncreasing the resilience at MSME\u2019s through reducing energy costs to overcome the<\/em><br \/>\n<em>effects of energy crisis and to improve business services\u201c. <\/em>This project\u00a0is implemented within the project &#8220;Activities for strengthening the business sector&#8221;, which is financed by USAID and Consulting for strategic development.<\/p>\n<p>The project aims to increase resilience through reducing energy costs enabled by introducing energy saving measures and diversification of energy sources at industrial facilities (for production purposes but also for heating, cooling, transport, etc.). This should result at improved competitiveness and upgraded services that will provide better business services and performance as well as increased resilience to the new energy conditions, a consequence of the energy crisis. In addition to the reduced costs, is can contribute at stable energy supply, more-cost effective production, and strengthened capacities of MSME employees for further uptake of the identified measures for saving energy. The specific objectives of the project are building capacities of MSME employees and providing onsite mentorship as a prerequisite for upgrading the business services and reaching out long term goals.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve the goals of the project, 4 activities are planned:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activity 1 \u2013 Development and implementation of customized energy management training for MSME members and employees<\/li>\n<li>Activity 2 \u2013 Supporting MSMEs at improving the energy supply and its energy performance aiming to reduce energy costs and improve business<\/li>\n<li>Activity 3 \u2013 Developing Digital Energy Management Tool<\/li>\n<li>Activity 4 \u2013 Facilitating EE and RES investments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The duration of the project is 12 months, from July 2023 to June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Center for Climate Change has started implementing the project \u201cIncreasing the resilience at MSME\u2019s through reducing energy costs to overcome the effects of energy crisis and to improve business services\u201c.
